Arizona Cardinals at Green Bay Packers: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 6 game

October 9, 2024

The Green Bay Packers (3-2) are back home to host a team coming off a surprising win, the Arizona Cardinals (2-3), Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Perhaps the biggest upset of Week 5 came in the Bay Area, when Arizona snapped a four-game skid against the San Francisco 49ers and shocked its divisional rival. There weren’t many expectations for the Cardinals, but in a division where every team is struggling, they aren’t far from contending for an NFC West title.

Jordan Love got his first win of the season when he led the Packers out West to a win against the Los Angeles Rams. He looks like he’s shaking the cobwebs off after a slow start, and Green Bay will have to try and keep up in a division that’s looking like the toughest in all of football.

Lorenzo Reyes: Packers 24, Cardinals 23

Arizona is kind of a tough team to read, but then again so are the Packers. The Cardinals have just found ways to play up to teams that are more talented on paper. And, Arizona has shown that it can hang around and stage comebacks. That all makes me think the Cards keep this close, especially since four of Green Bay’s five games have been decided by one score.

Tyler Dragon: Packers 26, Cardinals 20

Jordan Love seems to have knocked the rust off after missing two games due to a knee injury. WRs Christian Watson (ankle) could be back, and Romeo Doubs’ one-game suspension is over. The Packers have a keep pace in an NFC North division where all four teams have a winning record. This is a tough cross country road trip for the Cardinals, but Jonathan Gannon’s team is off to a surprising start.

Jordan Mendoza: Packers 26, Cardinals 23

Green Bay appears to found some offensive momentum even when some receivers aren’t playing. Arizona got a big-time win against San Francisco, but the Packers defense tightens up to limit Kyler Murray from another second-half comeback.
