The Jacksonville Jaguars will take on the Las Vegas Raiders in a Week 16 game between two teams looking for any sort of good news this NFL season.
Jacksonville (3-11) may have a bad record, but nearly every Jaguars game this season has been a close one. Jacksonville has played 10 games decided by seven or fewer points, losing eight times. The latest chapter in a frustrating campaign was last week’s 32-25 loss to the New York Jets, who scored the game-winning touchdown with just 65 seconds left on the clock.
Las Vegas (2-12) will be hoping to see quarterback Aidan O’Connell return after he missed time with a knee injury. The team injury report included positive news on that front, though wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (ankle) was only a limited participant in Wednesday’s and Thursday’s sessions. Getting both players on the field would help after Las Vegas managed just two scoring drives in a 15-9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons last week.
