NFL Week 15 picks: Consider Lions, Chiefs and Bengals on Sunday
Lorenzo Reyes explains why he likes the Lions, Chiefs and Bengals in Week 15.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head west to face the Los Angeles Chargers in a Week 15 game between two teams on track to finish this NFL season in playoff positions.
Tampa Bay (7-6) has taken advantage of a run of weaker opponents, winning three straight to vault right to the top of the NFC South. Most recently, the Buccaneers took an early lead on the Las Vegas Raiders and never let up en route to a 28-13 win. Rachaad White scored two touchdowns, while Tampa Bay’s defense held the Raiders to 286 total yards of offense (51 yards below the league average this season).
Los Angeles (8-5) has a decent hold on an AFC wild-card spot at the moment, but can’t get complacent after losing two of its last three games. The Chargers enter this game coming off of a heartbreaker, falling 19-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs on a doinked-in field goal as time expired. Picking up another win will require the Chargers — who had just 94 yards on 24 rushing attempts against K.C. — to put together a stronger performance running the ball.
