Dolphins at Texans: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL Week 15 game

After Miami Dolphins’ quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion early in the season, the Dolphins struggled to get anything going early on. Many fans believed their slow start had doomed them to another forgettable season, and that was only bolstered by star receiver Tyreek Hill’s lackluster production.

However, the Fins have turned things around as of late. They’ve been one of the most dominant teams in the league the last few weeks and in Week 15, they’ll have the opportunity to strut their stuff against another contender, the Houston Texans.

Although Texans’ quarterback C.J. Stroud has taken a bit of a step back from his rookie season, that hasn’t stopped the Texans from dominating the AFC South. With four weeks left to play, they’ve all but wrapped up a playoff spot. As we know, they can be one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL when they get going.

Here are our experts’ predictions for this Week 15 matchup.

Lorenzo Reyes: Dolphins 24, Texans 23

Houston is coming off its bye but the Texans have nonetheless shown some weaknesses. The key for Miami is its defense, which has been shaky in recent weeks. The Dolphins may not win, but I do like them to cover, even with this smaller line.

Tyler Dragon: Texans 28, Dolphins 26

A Week 14 bye might’ve been just what Houston needed after two uninspiring performances. I expect C.J. Stroud and the Texans to play well versus a hungry Dolphins club.

Richard Morin: Dolphins 26, Texans 20

This is an intriguing matchup. The Dolphins have been legitimately good these last few weeks ― and the Texans haven’t seemed quite right all season.

Jordan Mendoza: Texans 30, Dolphins 27

Miami needs to win to get back in the playoff picture. Houston can clinch the AFC South this week. Give me the Texans to win this duel and take the division.
