Black Friday shopping secrets revealed
Here’s what you should know before spending all your money on Black Friday “deals.”

Now that the turkey has been done and dusted, time to start ticking off those wish list items off your shopping list. If you’ve been debating between navigating in-store madness on Black Friday or waiting for Cyber Monday, Target has announced their deals for Cyber Monday to help make that decision.
The Minneapolis-headquartered retailer already has deals available online and in nearly 2,000 stores. But there’s another big batch of specials hitting on Cyber Monday “with deep discounts on items, including tech and video games, from brands (such as) Apple, PlayStation, Beats, Ray-Ban Meta and LG,” the retailer announced Friday.
Members of Target Circle, the retailer’s free-to-join loyalty program, can find all the Cyber Monday deals – and some exclusives and extra deals – in the Target app.

When is Target’s Cyber Monday sale?
Target’s Cyber Monday event begins Sunday, Dec. 1 at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT. The event will end on Monday, Dec. 2.
Target’s top Cyber Monday deals
While the complete list of Target’s Cyber Monday deals can be found in Target’s weekly ad, here’s a sampling:
- Up to 50% off tech and video games
- 25% off beauty, vitamins and nutrition from e.l.f., CeraVe, Olly, more
- 50% off shoes and slippers
- Up to 40% off select apparel
- Up to 30% off select toys like Hatchimals, Play-Doh and FAO Schwarz
- 30% off holiday decor and stockings
- Save up to $200 on select Apple devices
- Up to 50% off small appliances plus an extra 15% off
- 50% off Target Circle 360 membership now through Dec. 2 (originally $99)
Target deals throughout December
Besides the two-day Cyber Monday event, Target will continue to offer deals throughout December with new deals each week in store and online. These weeklong holiday deals will be announced every Sunday through Dec. 24.
Deals for Dec. 1-7 include:
- Up to 30% off tech and video games
- Up to 40% off small appliances and cookware
- Up to 50% off select toys
- Up to 50% off floorcare
- 50% off Keurig K-Iced Plus and K-Mini Go coffee makers
- 50% off select board games
- $10 select Favorite Day gingerbread houses and other deals across food and beverage
Target’s popular deal on gift cards
Between Dec. 7-8, Target is bringing back its popular 10% off “Target GiftCards” deal, only for members of Target Circle, the retailer’s loyalty program. The discount will automatically be applied at checkout for verified Target Circle members.
Target’s extended shopping hours
From Nov. 30 to Dec. 23, Target has extended store shopping hours from 7 a.m. to midnight (check local store hours).
Does Target price match?
Target has a holiday price match guarantee: If you buy an item at Target through Christmas Eve and Target reduces the price later in the season, the retailer will price-match it. Target will also match select competitors’ pricing within 14 days of your purchase.
