Bills hand Chiefs their first loss, Steelers atop the AFC North
Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the top storylines from Week 11 in the NFL.
Sports Seriously
For as hot as the Detroit Lions are, the Minnesota Vikings (8-2) are only one game behind, and they’ll hope to at least keep pace in the NFC North when they face the struggling Chicago Bears (4-6).
Just when it looked like Chicago would finally get the Green Bay monkey off its back, the Packers blocked a potential game-winning field goal to maintain its dominance over the Bears. Now Chicago has lost four straight and is quickly seeing Caleb Williams’ rookie season going to waste.
The schedule isn’t that difficult, but Minnesota is doing what it’s supposed to do and handling business against lowly teams. The Vikings were able to put away the Tennessee Titans for their third-straight win, and now eye a fourth one when it visits the Windy City.

FEELING LUCKY? Here are the best parlay bets and odds for NFL games this week
Browns vs. Steelers | Panthers vs. Chiefs | Bears vs. Vikings | Texans vs. Titans | Colts vs. Lions | Dolphins vs. Patriots | Giants vs. Buccaneers | Commanders vs. Cowboys | Raiders vs. Broncos | Packers vs. 49ers | Seahawks vs. Cardinals | Rams vs. Eagles | Chargers vs. Ravens
The Vikings have been steady, if unspectacular in recent weeks. The Bears showed more life on offense after firing former offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. Caleb Williams will need to chip in more and produce some touchdowns, but I can see this as a spot where the Bears keep it close with another week under Thomas Brown’s direction of the offense.
Justin Jefferson ranks second in the NFL in receiving yards. Will Bears standout CB Jaylon Johnson shadow Jefferson? The matchup between the two is one to watch. The Bears performed better with Thomas Brown as offensive coordinator, but Chicago is in a tough part of their schedule.
I’ve been getting punished for backing the Bears all season, but you have to admit that Caleb Williams and Co. looked a lot better last week. I think they win a shootout at home.
Last week was the first time Chicago looked like a promising football team in some time. Even though it ended in a loss, the Bears build off the momentum and end the losing skid with a big-time upset.
