Everybody laughed at the Denver Broncos when they selected Bo Nix with the 12th overall pick in the draft. Sure, they needed a quarterback, but picking Nix that early? That was a massive mistake in most people’s eyes. Well, guess we know why we’re not NFL GMs.

Bo Nix has erupted onto the scene as of late, culminating in a masterful performance and victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. That win pushed the Broncos to a 6-5 record, one of the most shocking developments of the NFL season. Now, they face a lackluster Las Vegas Raiders team, losers of six straight.

Here are our experts’ predictions for this Week 12 AFC West showdown.

Lorenzo Reyes: Broncos 27, Raiders 19

Denver’s offense has been steadily improving under Sean Payton, and rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been the biggest beneficiary. The Raiders struggle to put up points and Denver’s defense will make that test even more challenging.

Tyler Dragon: Broncos 24, Raiders 17

If it wasn’t for the rapid ascension of Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix would be in the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year conversation. Nix had career-highs in both passing yards (307) and touchdowns (4) in Week 11. The Raiders have lost six games in a row.

Richard Morin: Broncos 22, Raiders 17

Don’t go against Bo!

Jordan Mendoza: Broncos 27, Raiders 16

Bo Nix is starting to cook and making a case for Rookie of the Year. The defense helps him out by having another strong effort against the lowly Raiders.
