NFL Overreactions Week 10
Sports Seriously’s Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the wildest games in NFL Week 10.
Sports Seriously
Remember that really boring Super Bowl from a few years ago? Well, we’re getting a rematch with entirely new looks for each franchise. Tom Brady? Gone. Julian Edelman? Gone. Jared Goff? Detroit. Aaron Donald? Gone. All that’s left is Cooper Kupp and Sean McVay, and these teams are far from Super Bowl contenders anymore.
The Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots enter Week 11 both looking to climb out of their division’s basements. A win here would do wonders to each team’s standing in the AFC East and NFC West respectively.
Here are our experts’ predictions for this Week 11 showdown.

FEELING LUCKY? Here are the best parlay bets and odds for NFL games this week
Eagles vs. Commanders | Bears vs. Packers | Lions vs. Jaguars | Dolphins vs. Raiders | Patriots vs. Rams | Saints vs. Browns | Steelers vs. Ravens | Titans vs. Vikings | Jets vs. Colts | Broncos vs. Falcons | 49ers vs. Seahawks | Bills vs. Chiefs | Chargers vs. Bengals | Cowboys vs. Texans
Los Angeles struggled on offense and the Patriots have the NFL’s seventh total defense. The Pats excel on third downs and in the red zone. And while the Rams do well in those areas on offense, I think it keeps this margin closer.
The Rams are coming off a frustrating loss and will look to rebound versus a rebuilding Patriots squad. This is a game the Rams should win if they want to compete for a division title. Cross-country flights are taxing and a three-hour time difference, but the Rams are the superior team.
The Rams’ best feature is their receiver duo, but the Patriots’ best feature might be their ability to take away those options thanks to Christian Gonzalez and Co. I like New England to pick up another win here.
New England’s defense has come up big in its wins. The unit can force some Matthew Stafford mistakes, but the weapons surrounding him pick up the slack to get the cross-country road victory.
