Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes part eight. Who is ready for another classic between the Kansas City Chiefs (9-0) and the Buffalo Bills (8-2)?
It’s starting to become ridiculous how Kansas City is finding ways to keep the perfect record alive. Just when it looked like the Denver Broncos would hand them a loss, a blocked field goal prevented it and the Chiefs remain the only undefeated team. No matter the score, the Chiefs can never be counted out.
Buffalo continues to roll toward another AFC East crown with now five straight victories. The latest came against the Indianapolis Colts which was all about the defense. The Bills are playing elite ball, and they present the best chance to give Kansas City the first L of the season. Can the home crowd power them through?

Eagles vs. Commanders | Bears vs. Packers | Lions vs. Jaguars | Dolphins vs. Raiders | Patriots vs. Rams | Saints vs. Browns | Steelers vs. Ravens | Titans vs. Vikings | Jets vs. Colts | Broncos vs. Falcons | 49ers vs. Seahawks | Bills vs. Chiefs | Chargers vs. Bengals | Cowboys vs. Texans
The Bills have won four of the last five regular-season games against the Chiefs, but Kansas City is — perhaps unsustainably so — finding ways to grit out wins. I just have a hard time going against the Chiefs here, especially when they’re getting points.
The game of the week. The Chiefs are the fifth reigning Super Bowl champion to win its first nine games. Will the Chiefs improve to 10-0 or will Buffalo be the first team to give them a loss? Seven of Kansas City’s victories have been by one score. This game will likely be decided by seven points or less. I’m not betting against Patrick Mahomes.
Kansas City, although undefeated, really has not been that great this season and it is reflected in oddsmakers tapping two-loss Buffalo as the favorite. Regardless, this is the game everyone is tuning in for on Sunday. I expect a classic Mahomes-Allen shootout, but the Bills will show they are the better team this season.
Kansas City has gotten all sorts of magic to get to 9-0. That all stops this week. Josh Allen has played well against the Chiefs − in the regular season − and the Bills make a case to be the best AFC team by ending the perfect season in Kansas City.
