NFL Week 9 picks and predictions
Lorenzo Reyes is back with his best bets for NFL Week 9 games.

The Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings will square off in Week 9, with both teams looking to use this “Sunday Night Football” contest to get back on track after some less-than-ideal recent news.
For the Colts (4-4), the big news is head coach Shane Steichen’s decision to bench struggling quarterback Anthony Richardson. Veteran Joe Flacco will start in Minneapolis instead, having completed more passes than Richardson this season despite starting just two games (and appearing in two more off the bench). The second-year QB drew criticism from after asking for a breather in Week 8, but Indianapolis is probably more focused on Flacco’s seven-to-one touchdown-to-interception ratio being far superior to Richardson’s 4/7 split this season.
Minnesota (5-2) is looking to rediscover what worked early in the season after following a Week 6 bye with two straight losses. Last week’s 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams saw the Vikings struggle in the ground game, picking up just 64 total rushing yards. Minnesota is still very much in contention to win the NFC North, but can’t afford to drop home games in the race to finish atop one of the league’s most competitive divisions.
