Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season is here and there’s a full docket of intriguing Sunday games on tap with no teams on a bye.
In the early afternoon window, there’s an NFC South clash between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers that could have playoff ramifications come January as well as a battle for the top spot in the AFC South between the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans. There’s also a fascinating AFC vs. NFC game with the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals.
The late afternoon window features a potential matchup pitting top 2024 NFL draft picks Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels against each other when the Chicago Bears visit the Washington Commanders. Daniels’ uncertain injury status could change the dynamic, however. Then comes two huge brands off to shaky starts to the season on “Sunday Night Football” as the San Francisco 49ers host the Dallas Cowboys.
