A pair of graded-stakes winners worked Monday for the first time since their most recent races.
Life’s an Audible had a strong start to her sophomore season, winning the Sweetest Chant (G3) on Feb. 3 at Gulfstream and finishing second in a pair of other stakes races. However, the Todd Pletcher trainee had not raced or drilled since running second in the Herecomesthebride (G3) on March 2. The daughter of Audible returned to work Monday morning, going three furlongs on the Gulfstream dirt in an easy 39.9 seconds.
Romagna Mia, another graded-stakes winner who had been on the shelf, also posted a return work Monday morning. The 5-year-old Christophe Clement trainee, who won the Dowager (G3) at Keeneland last October, has been away since finishing fifth behind Alpha Bella in the La Prevoyante (G3) on Jan. 27 at Gulfstream Park. She drilled three furlongs on the all-weather at Fair Hill on Monday in 38.0 seconds, the only worker over course and distance.
These four graded-stakes winners worked across North America on Monday morning:
Stitched (Mizzen Mast), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Wise Dan), worked four furlongs in 48.2 seconds at Churchill Downs on Monday morning. It was the fifth fastest of 28 works at the distance. His previous work was 10 days ago going four furlongs at Churchill Downs. In his last start he placed 10th in an allowance race going seven furlongs on the turf at Woodbine on June 1 for trainer Greg Foley.

His previous work was eight days ago going five furlongs at Churchill Downs. In his last start he placed third in the Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) going 1 1/4 miles on the main track at Saratoga on Sept. 1 for trainer Steve Asmussen.
Life’s an Audible (Audible), a Grade 3 winner (2024 Sweetest Chant), worked three furlongs in 39.9 seconds at Gulfstream Park on Monday morning. It was the slowest of four works at the distance. This was her first work since her last race. In her last start she placed second in the Herecomesthebride (G3) going one mile on the turf at Gulfstream Park on March 2 for trainer Todd Pletcher.
Romagna Mia (Mastercraftsman), a Grade 3 winner (2023 Dowager), worked three furlongs in 38.0 seconds at Fair Hill on Monday morning. It was the only work at the distance.
