A big-time NFC South showdown is on deck in Week 4 with the New Orleans Saints (2-1) taking on the Atlanta Falcons (1-2).

After two explosive games to start the season, the Saints came back down to Earth by losing a tough one to the Eagles at home. Derek Carr didn’t have his best game, but he and the offense will try to get back on the same page against a stout defense.

Another close loss for the Falcons, this time to the Kansas City Chiefs, has the the rejuvenated Atlanta team trying to avoid falling in a quick hole. It can get to the top of the division if it takes down a familiar foe.

Giants vs. Cowboys | Falcons vs. Saints | Panthers vs. Bengals | Bears vs. Rams | Packers vs. Vikings | Texans vs. Jaguars | Colts vs. Steelers | Jets vs. Broncos | Buccaneers vs. Eagles | Cardinals vs. Commanders | 49ers vs. Patriots | Chargers vs. Chiefs | Raiders vs. Browns | Ravens vs. Bills | Dolphins vs. Titans | Lions vs. Seahawks

Lorenzo Reyes: Saints 24, Falcons 20

The Falcons appear as if they’re slowly finding their offensive rhythm, but the entire operation simply isn’t as crisp as it should be. Kirk Cousins doesn’t look entirely comfortable, and there are occasional discipline and mental mistake issues. This is a fascinating NFC South matchup, and while I like Atlanta’s roster better on paper, I think the Saints are playing more complete and efficient football.

Tyler Dragon: Falcons 25, Saints 21

There’s no love lost between these two NFC South rivals. This should be one of the best games of Week 4. The Falcons are one of the better 1-2 teams in the NFL. Bijan Robinson and Drake London are off to strong starts this season. I expect the Falcons safety tandem of Jessie Bates and Justin Simmons to slow down the Saints’ aerial attack.

Richard Morin: Saints 27, Falcons 26

The Falcons are better than their 1-2 record would indicate. However, their penchant of falling short in close games continues in this one. Time for Michael Penix Jr.?

Jordan Mendoza: Saints 17, Falcons 16

This one is a tough one to pick given Atlanta’s defense has been tough and the Saints have been mostly spectacular. I think the Falcons prevent New Orleans from lighting up the scoreboard, but Alvin Kamara does just enough to push his team toward a 3-1 start.
