A lucky slot player at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City turned a small bet into a jackpot of hundreds of thousands of dollars, officials said.

The casino-goer, who did not want to be identified, placed the bet this weekend on a wide-area progressive Wheel of Fortune slot machine with a 25 cent denomination, according to a release from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

The bettor wagered $3.75 and won a slot jackpot of $415,733.03, the casino said.

The jackpot amount is based on a 20-year annual annuity payout.

In addition to the 2,425 slots on its gaming floor, the casino includes a private high-end slot salon, plus 130 table games of blackjack, baccarat, craps and roulette.
