Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 4 game

September 25, 2024

Justin Fields is 3-0 with the Pittsburgh Steelers and he’ll attempt to keep the undefeated record alive with a visit to the Indianapolis Colts (1-2).

The defense has mostly held it together, but Fields is looking more comfortable in the Pittsburgh offense, the latest example being a rushing and throwing touchdown in a win over the Chargers. So far, it looks like he will get another chance to prove he’s worth getting the permanent starting role.

Indianapolis badly needed a win and got one on the back of Jonathan Taylor against the Chicago Bears. The defense toughened up and will try to build that momentum against an offense that is starting to click.

Giants vs. Cowboys | Falcons vs. Saints | Panthers vs. Bengals | Bears vs. Rams | Packers vs. Vikings | Texans vs. Jaguars | Colts vs. Steelers | Jets vs. Broncos | Buccaneers vs. Eagles | Cardinals vs. Commanders | 49ers vs. Patriots | Chargers vs. Chiefs | Raiders vs. Browns | Ravens vs. Bills | Dolphins vs. Titans | Lions vs. Seahawks

Lorenzo Reyes: Steelers 17, Colts 13

Pittsburgh is the only defense in the NFL to hold teams to fewer than 10 points per game. It’s an aggressive unit that forces turnovers, and Anthony Richardson has been far too careless with the football. Justin Fields is making the right decisions. Steelers games won’t be pretty, but they’re showing they’re really tough to beat. I’m confidently backing them here.

Tyler Dragon: Steelers 20, Colts 16

Have the Steelers found their QB? It seems like it after Justin Fields has helped the team to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2020. Fields has made strides as a passer, plus the Steelers are beating opponents with strong defensive performances. The Steelers don’t beat themselves. Expect Pittsburgh’s defense to contain Indy’s offense.

Richard Morin: Steelers 18, Colts 15

Pittsburgh may have found its guy in Justin Fields. The Steelers keep the momentum rolling through Week 4.

Jordan Mendoza: Steelers 19, Colts 13

Justin Fields has looked so comfortable in Pittsburgh and as long as he plays mistake-free football, it’ll be tough to take down Pittsburgh. The Steelers have yet to play a game with more than 30 combined points, so the under is a safe play here.
