One of the most important things the Tennessee Titans have to do this season is figure out whether Will Levis is the quarterback they want moving forward.

Two games in, things aren’t looking great for the 2023 second-rounder. He’s thrown three interceptions to two touchdowns and has fumbled the ball twice. One of those fumbles was a crucial mistake in a third-and-goal situation where he tried to lateral the ball to Tyjae Spears.

If you’re wondering how head coach Brian Callahan felt about it, you don’t have to. He was pretty open about it in the post-game press conference:

“I was upset. It was dumb. It was the same exact thing he did last week, and he cost us points in the red zone. He’s a grown-up and he knows better, and I was really irritated that he cost us three points in a game that we probably needed it.”

The Titans only drafted Levis two years ago, but Callahan just got the head coaching job. If his frustration with the quarterback continues to grow, it isn’t hard to see them looking for someone that the coach wants to work with in next year’s draft.

The Kentucky product still needs help from his offensive line, which ranks 29th as a unit in pass rush win rate, per ESPN Analytics.

But making good decisions under pressure is half of being a good NFL quarterback. Levis is officially on the hot seat.
