Welcome to the first NFL Sunday of the 2024 season.
After two games earlier in the week, a full slate of NFL games is on the docket for Sunday — including the regular season debuts of several rookie quarterbacks. Among those with a big debut is the Denver Broncos’ clash with the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle, where No. 12 overall pick Bo Nix will start under center for Denver.
Nix isn’t the only one making a big debut in Sunday’s game. Former Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald is also set for his first game as a head coach as he takes over from Pete Carroll in Seattle.
Both teams are entering 2024 hoping to overcome disappointing results from last season, as both finished third in their respective divisions and missed the playoffs.

Jordan Mendoza writes: “Bo Nix has been nothing but impressive since he’s arrived in Denver, but going into a raucous Seattle home crowd will be a tough task for a first regular season game. The Broncos couldn’t stop the run last season, and that’s something Kenneth Walker has to be looking forward to exposing. Seattle limits Denver in a convincing win.”
