USA Today recognizes Silver Dollar City as country’s Best Theme Park

Silver Dollar has, once again, been voted among the best theme parks in the country by industry professionals and community members.

USA Today 10Best announced on Wednesday that Silver Dollar City received the award for Best Theme Park in the country. Silver Dollar City’s Rivertown Ramblers also ranked No. 2 for Best Theme Park Entertainment. The Rivertown Ramblers is a group of musicians known for their bluegrass and folk performances. The band performs at the park’s Dockside Theater.

Throughout the year, USA Today 10Best publishes numerous Readers’ Choice Awards, which highlight the best in travel, food and drink, and lifestyle. Industry experts help nominate their favorite 20 points of interest and then readers help narrow the list down to the top 10 choices.

No. 10: Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio

For the category of Best Theme Park Entertainment, Silver Dollar City was only beat by Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s Celtic Frye in Williamsburg, Virginia. The following entertainment also ranked:
