What and according to who, is the best place to live in America
If you’re looking to move, or even just visit the places considered the best towns and cities in America, you know that the rankings do constantly change. But based on metrics like, population, cost, education and crime, data driven platforms have found some surprising places climbing the ranks. Yair Ben-Dor has more.
Cincinnati boasts some of the best public high school in the state, according to U.S. News & World Report’s recent ranking of the nation’s top high schools.
Out of 705 ranked schools, Walnut Hills High School topped the list for the Buckeye State. It is No. 118 in the nation, out of 17,655, according to the publication.
According to U.S. News, 92% of Walnut Hills students participate in Advanced Placement coursework.
Rounding out the top five in the state are Bexley High School, Madeira High School, Solon High School and Rocky River High School.
To rank high schools, U.S. News gathered data from Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exams, state proficiency tests, graduation rates and the U.S. Department of Education’s Common Core of Data. U.S. News looked at 941 Ohio high schools and ranked 705.
