The 2024 NFL Draft has begun at Hart Plaza in Campus Martius Park in Detroit and the host city turned to one of its biggest celebrities to open the festivities.

Detroit native Eminem went on stage with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to open draft night at 8 p.m. ET on both NFL Network and ESPN. Both networks will reportedly have Detroit-themed surprises for the night as well.

Eminem welcomed current and former Detroit Lions players onto the stage including Pro Football Hall of Famers Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson as well as Aidan Hutchinson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Jared Goff.

When is the NFL Draft?

• April 25: Round 1 (8 p.m. ET)
• April 26: Round 2 and Round 3 (7 p.m. ET)
• April 27: Round 4 through Round 7 (noon ET)
