NFL mock draft 2024: The consensus mock shows how experts are projecting the first round

April 22, 2024

IT’S NFL DRAFT WEEK!! WOOHOOOOOOO!

That’s right, the 2024 NFL Draft is nearly upon us, but that means we’ve hit peak mock draft SZN. So it’s time once again to round up the experts around the internet: Who are they picking where?

In case you don’t know the drill: We take a bunch of mocks —specifically, the latest from our Christian D’Andrea, one from ESPN, another from PFF, one from USA TODAY Sports, and another from CBS Sports. Then, we look at the picks each made and average out each player’s positions and match them to each of the first 32 picks of the first round. Anyone left out of a first-round mock was assigned the 32rd pick.

Worth noting: Some of these picks may not fit the teams they’re assigned to due to trades in some mocks and some pick differences.

Be sure to check out D’Andrea’s latest mock draft!

Note that this is where a lot of mocks have McCarthy going to a team like the Vikings.

Again, this assumes a trade up and not the Ravens taking a QB.
